Job Description
To be part of the team producing peptides at Cambridge Research Biochemicals – supplier of custom peptides to the research community in both Pharma and academia.
Role: The synthesis of peptides and post synthesis modifications is a vital process for CRB and it is crucial for the company that we synthesis good quality peptides and we deliver to our customers on time.
- Synthesis of peptides using both automated peptide synthesisers and manual procedures.
- Cleavage of peptides from resin supports
- In-process synthesis, analysis by HPLC and mass spectrometry.
- Carrying out post synthesis modification of peptides, cyclisations, and attachment of dyes.
You should hold a degree in chemistry and have practical experience in synthetic chemistry.
You will be an enthusiastic, organised and practical person who enjoys problem solving and working in a team.
You will be reliable, hardworking and willing to learn from others. You will be committed to meeting the needs of the research clients within a service environment.
