Anti-V5 Epitope tag antibody corresponding to the V5 epitope sequence GKPIPNPLLGLDST. The V5 tag is derived from a small epitope (Pk) found on the P and V proteins of the paramyxovirus (of the simian virus 5 (SV5) family) and is extensively used as a general epitope tag in expression vectors. This antibody detects and purifies V5 tagged recombinant proteins without the need for a protein-specific antibody.
